About KimoNoir

This is a new brand born from the SDGs project of the second-hand kimono shop Tansuya.
It was born out of an attempt to give new value to products that, despite being excellent silk kimonos, have fallen into disrepair because they are stained or faded, or because  their colour or pattern design isn't up to date, by dyeing them whole again using black dyes.
The charm of this product lies in the unique texture created by chance, with the gold and silver threads shining through without being dyed, and the original pattern gently emerging from the jet-black material in other parts of the product.
You can enjoy the new world of black-dyed kimonos, which are different from perfectly calculated normal kimonos, and which are unique to KimoNoir.
