Kimono Choya, a kimono shop, will open a limited-time yukata shop at InCube Tenjin, Fukuoka, from Tuesday 26 July to Monday 15 August 2022.
A kimono specialist shop Kimono Choya, established in Kurume, Fukuoka in 1939, will open a limited-time shop with over 300 different types of yukata. Under the theme of "Retro", the shop offers unique kimonos in Showa-era (1926 - 1989) retro and Taisho era (1912 - 1926) roman designs that evoke a sense of nostalgia.
The most popular of these are Showa-era retro designs with a nostalgic atmosphere. The line-up includes a model with a flesh white background and blue stripes, and a 1980s-style design with vitamin-coloured goldfish scattered all over.
If you want to be enjoy a more nostalgic mood, the Taisho-roman design is a good choice. Classical yukata with bright red flowers and models with large chrysanthemums on a navy blue background will be available.
