Iwakura, Aichi Prefecture, City that Looks Good in Yukata

Iwakura, Aichi
Following on from last year, Iwakura City and the NPO Iwakura Tourism Promotion Association will again provide content for the JR Tokai campaign product "Aichi Chilled Journey: Choice of Experiences" this year.
To coincide with the campaign dates, a yukata dressing plan "Iwakura, a city that looks good in yukata" by a kimono dressing technician has been prepared, which can be used without any hassle.

Professional kimono dressers will dress you in a way that will keep you in place. The fee is as low as 1,000 yen, although you must bring your own yukata and equipments. Reservations are required at least three days before the event, and men's dressing is also available.

Even on days when there're no fireworks or festivals, walking around town in a yukata is a great way to get into the spirit of the city.
Enjoy a walk along the Iwakura Gojo River in your yukata.

Dates: Saturday 23 July, Sunday 24 July, Saturday 6 August, Sunday 7 August, Saturday 3 September and Sunday 4 September
Time: 1:30pm to 5pm
Place: Iwakura Lifelong Learning Centre, Japanese room
Address: Sakuland Iwakura 2nd floor, 20 Shinmei Nishi, Honmachi, Iwakura City, Aichi Prefecture
