The concept of this fashion event is to promote cultural exchange and fusion through Kyoto's elegant and graceful kimono culture and artistic music, and to disseminate information from Kyoto on the good old traditions of Japan to a wide audience.
The local community and the JR West Japan Group have worked together to promote this event.
A drawing will be held to invite 1,400 pairs of 2,800 people to the event.

As the world gradually return to normal lives after the self-restraint caused by the pandemic, and opportunities to wear kimonos are increasing, we want all customers who look forward to the Fashion Cantata, new customers we meet and everyone involved in kimono to feel a positive, clear feeling.
This year's show, now in its 28th year, will be held in Kyoto, and will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the elegant and refined culture of Japanese dress through a production that interweaves the beauty of Kyoto with the moment when gorgeous kimonos shine beautifully.
